| davebo | 8 | | | You gotta have Sorry! Play it by starting with one pawn out, and three card hand. |
| cagriggs | 7 | 5 | Some | I played this one growing up and now I play it with my sons. They really love being able to send another player back to start. At times, the do not get all the strategies and my wife and I have to help them, but they still have a good time. We also have to remind them of the various options they have with some of the cards, but I'm sure they'll pick these up the more they play. |
| CameronL | 7 | | | With four playing pieces to choose from, this is an excellent introduction to decision-making. |
| csjoholm | 7 | | | A little more strategy than Pachisi or Trouble, still quite accessible for kids. |
| erik2point0 | 7 | 7 | Some | actual strategy in a kid friendly game. |
| fullerbd | 7 | | | Lots of fun for the kids, especially when they get to slide. Just remember that the 4 moves you backwards. |
| helenoftroy | 7 | | | I enjoyed this game as a child. It has a slightly different strategy to roll and move games because of the multiple pieces. |
| Jatoha | 7 | 6 | Yes | If you play this with a hand of three cards, it is a pretty fun game with enough strategy to keep it interesting. Sometimes can drag, but not terribly. |
| maksum | 7 | | | Better than other roll and move games. Each player is managing 4 different pawns. After each roll they need to consider which pawn would benefit them the most if moved. You can put them into play, move them into safety, send an opponents piece home (sorry!) or simply advance the pawn further around the board. I would say it is a great game to introduce children to decision making. |

| Randy Cox | 7 | | | I like it better than Parchesi. Not great for adults, but not horrible either. |
| RPardoe | 7 | | | Easy game to play, but drags at the end when players need that one right card to end the game. |
| The Unbeliever | 7 | 6 | Yes | Takes a little too long. The Disney version reduces some of the length problem with special rules. |
| Thommy8 | 7 | | | Good choice as long as the kids are not too young. It has got more going on than Candyland and Chutes & Ladders, so it is one to grow into, and then out of eventually, hopefully. |

| mcross | 6 | 6 | Some | Can be fun for a little while. |
| Shade_Jon | 6 | | | A definitive game with a few choices and bright colors. Hopefully kids will outgrow it, but fills a niche. |
| Thies | 6 | 5 | Some | Not bad, but not as much fun as many newer games. Has enough decision making that adults won't be completely miserable playing along. Does get monotonous even for the kids at some point, though, and often games take long enough to reach that point. |
| shumyum | 5 | | | My kids enjoy it, but it can be frustrating. Worse: it takes too long. |
