| markball | 6 | 8 | Yes | I would not hesitate to pull this game out when everybody's ready for a word game. Scrabble, Buyword, and others are tougher for head-to-head match ups at varying skill levels, while Quiddler offers an easier path to making words and a few levels of tactical play for making the best score.
Kids younger than 10 will need help in tactics for forming words. Still, I've found that they like this exercise as part of the game.
Adults can be beaten by kids here. Some lucky draws and a quick mind for making words out of garbage can get a leg up. Adults can also play each other and have fun.
We play this game in the car, too! |

| moakm | 4 | | | One thing that this game requires is that kids can read and form words. This is a simple game that uses short words, but adults and older kids will always have an advantage over younger kids. Even when adults play it is a good idea to aim for players with similar word skills. Otherwise, a player with a strong vocabulary will win in the end. Modified rules for younger players could level the playing field. |
