| The Unbeliever | 10 | 3 | Yes | All of my kids love this game. They have loved it at every age. Simple enough that they can play it without any adult supervision. |
| mcross | 9 | 4 | Some | Teaches deduction skills, can be a lot of fun if your kid has a little patience. |
| petegrey | 9 | | | Good game for kids to help develop memory and deduction. Kids can put adults in their place with this game sometimes! |
| SeanXor | 9 | 4 | Some | A good deduction game for younger children. If adults are playing with them, the adult will have to throw the game sometimes. |
| alkaiser | 8 | 6 | Some | Basic deduction game that teaches simple deduction techniques. |
| cagriggs | 8 | 4 | Some | A game my five-year-old has enjoyed for a year or two. He finds if fun to try to figure out who I have and then to win the game. Unfortunately, he doesn't always get the best strategy for asking about different features on the characters. I usually have to intentionally play poorly so that he can win. But he's getting better. The game is a bit delicate, so be careful not to break it. |
| Ed the Red | 7 | | | Decent game which my kids enjoy (7 and 5). The 5 year old tends to only win when he is allowed to as his questions are a bit random, but he enjoys it. The 7 year old is pretty good, and has learned to be quite logical. The one year old hasn't mastered it yet, I'm sad to say. |
| erik2point0 | 7 | 6 | Some | Kids enjoy it, but once they learn the right questions to ask, they lose interest. |
| helenoftroy | 7 | | | This is a great game of guessing, logic, and problem solving for a variety of ages. |
| jeremycobert | 7 | | | This used to be the kids favorite when they came to my wifes office at her elementary school until she brought in more of a variety to choose from. It still gets choosen here and there and it is a great game for problem solving and deduction. |
| musicmom | 7 | 4 | Some | Our kids have always liked playing this. It's silly and quick and they can play it without help. It also teaches great deduction skills. |
| pikkusiili2000 | 7 | 5 | Some | |
| Randy Cox | 7 | 3 | Some | This is a tough one. Our 2 and 3 year olds love to play this game. Moreso than all the games that are geared towards that age. Of course, they don't play it as an eight-year-old might. They ask a question and we answer, followed by an instruction like, so that means you can turn down (or leave up) the ones with (fill in the attribute).
They ask for it again and again, so I have to give it a high mark. And though my 2-year-old asks as often as his older sister, I don't think it's really appropriate for a child that young (and, no I'm not trying to say he is a genius or anything--he's only 2). So I give it an age range of 3 and up, but it will play very differently as they age, if it holds up until then, which is unlikely given the cheap construction. |
| RPardoe | 7 | | | For 6~8 year olds a popular deduction game. The advantage with this one, kids can teach other kids how to play. Unfortunately, the game hinges on that one lucky guess that eliminates a disproportionate number of suspects. Kids can and will outgrow this one once that is realized. |
| Shade_Jon | 7 | | | A very simple deduction game, which wears out once they get it. This could take a while, however. |
| shumyum | 7 | | | My five year old twins have enjoyed this since they were four. Much more popular than Guess Where? |
| wyldeoad | 7 | 6 | Some | Kids 6 to maybe 9 or 10 enjoy the deduction and puzzle element. Game is usually close and exciting to see who will guess the character first. |
| boltongeordie | 6 | 3 | Some | A good game to start kids on deductive reasoning but the learning benefits soon pale and my kids seemed to go off it after a dozen or so plays. Not enough variety perhaps? |
| csjoholm | 6 | | | Nice introduction to deduction games. For older kids. |
