Shade_Jon9  A really good odds game with dice. One of the few god dice games, actually. Not too long to play, and very portable.
Randy Cox8  There is a reason this is a classic. Just enough strategizing so as not to put off kids and plenty of dice and luck so that you can blame the fates when you do not win.
The Unbeliever87Yes Triple Yahtzee is even better!
boltongeordie77Some An OK game for kids, but there are better games to play so why play this one?
gaharoni7  Plenty of luck to keep the kids excited, and a tiny bit of strategy to make them think and plan ahead.
GROGnads7  Well, since most kids just have to be taught the intricacies of this, then it does take several rounds before they are able to keep up. That does not deter the more ambitious sort, since then they will be considered as "grownup" in regards to some other kind that they might be looking towards having a chance to play later on.
runehardt76Yes Something about Yahtzee has always seemed adult to me. When I was a kid that's what it looked like to me. No bright colors and no theme. It was like basic cards or dice in my mind. I can see kids today looking at it that same way. Still great and simple game but kids need more visuals I think.
Ossian6  Rolling dice is a plus point for my daughter (age 6) but this goes on a bit too long.
petegrey6  Decent game for very young kids just getting into gaming. Very little strategy to be learned here.

Admiral Fisher5  Not the best game for adults, and it is no better for children really.
cindy55No Not particularly engaging for our children
erik2point056Some My kids find it kind of exciting at first, but then kind of boring as it takes a while and they have not rolled a yahtzee yet.
Jatoha57Yes I recently played this for the first time with my kids and it was not a great experience. So, I have to rate this lower than I would have guessed. They thought this was boring. Maybe if we played it more often they would get the hang of the different categories like full house, etc. But I doubt I could talk them into playing this again.
shawndumas57Some Pre-teens and teens are likely to enjoy. No half naked women, gore, cursing, or morbidity.
Yollege56Some Fun sometimes, but can REALLY drag on. Kids get bored if it lasts too long.
