| erik2point0 | 10 | 7 | Yes | This is a family favorite. The 3-year-old does not play, but enjoys messing around with the extra trains. This is often requested by both my older kids. |

| gamesgrandpa | 10 | 7 | Yes | Our 9-year-old grandson requests to play this often, and it is a favorite game of my wife, so it is fun for at least three generations in our family. It makes it to our game table frequently. |
| gteemer | 10 | | | Great game!! This game is loved by both kids and adults. Great for learning geography. It is a great family game. |
| jcarvin | 10 | 9 | Yes | At it's heart it a rummy style games but with lots of bells and whistles. It's a fun game for kids and adults and I know a lot of 10+ kids who love it. |
| jtyoshi14 | 10 | | | Great game for kids and adults alike. Easy fun system with trains and helps kids understand planning as wells as geography. Highly recommended. |
| laraberrycross | 10 | 9 | Yes | Easy to learn and play, the bits are great and it's a lot of fun. |
| larry welborn | 10 | 6 | Yes | A great family game. Children younger than 8 will be able to play, but will probably be very linear. If the adults don't try to block younger children, it can be a fun and competitive game for all. |
| Norwood | 10 | 8 | Yes | This is a great first real game that everyone in the family can love. For younger kids, the set collection is easy and they can participate, even if they don't fully get the overall route-completion strategy. No reason not to have this game if you want to have family game time. |

| Thommy8 | 10 | | | This is one of the best games out there for slightly older kids. It has great colorful and sturdy components, plus will help teach geography. I even learned about a few cities from these board maps. It also has very high replayability. |
| anthropos95 | 9 | 6 | Yes | I have found this a great family game. One of the most frequent games to hit our table on family game night. |
| Aranza | 9 | | | We love this game at home. Bought it last Xmas and it still gets played on game nights. The 8yo still loses most nights, but her strategy has improved a lot. The physical components are beautiful and the box is well designed for storage. Great for gaming families, I recommed it wholeheartedly. |

| Ed the Red | 9 | | | A very good game for kids, the pieces are nice, the rules are not particularly complicated (and mainly fairly intuitive) and there is strategy/tactics and planning. I've got Ticket to Ride:Europe which has a few more aspects than the original TTR I believe, for the first few games we left these out (ferries and tunnels) but now we play the full game with our 6 year old. One of his favourites. |
| fortgary | 9 | 7 | Yes | As this game has become so popular, it is natural to use TtR as an introduction to gaming. Anyone who likes trains (almost all kids) will enjoy the theme of this game. It is easily taught and learned by all age groups. |
| gwen | 9 | | | The kids love this one very much. The rules are very simple, the playing time stays under one hour and the game is totaly language independent. Gives them the chance to get familiar with the geography of another continent. |
