| artfuldodge2 | 6 | 3 | No | My daughter found this to be a fun toy, but it misses the target as a game. She was bored! |
| The Unbeliever | 5 | 5 | Yes | Kids always fight over the pieces. |

| knilob | 4 | 4 | No | This is one of the old standbys that don't really deserve any acclaim. |
| maksum | 4 | | | I have a hard time rating Cooties very highly. Seems that the parts are just too small and too numerous for kids at an age that is appropriate for this game. If certain pieces get lost, that is all it takes to make it unplayable in some instances as well. I like the idea of set collection, and building something colorful and fun-looking. It is just to fiddly in my opinion. |
| moakm | 4 | | | Another very simple game. My six year olds will ask for it occasionally. They like playing with the components. |
| shumyum | 4 | | | Not much of a game here. I loved it when I was a kid, for whatever reason, but my kids have not really taken to it. |
| Yollege | 4 | 3 | No | Fun to build the bugs, but pieces get lost too easy. |

| cagriggs | 3 | 3 | No | This game is not very exciting and can end up taking a long time if players never roll enough sixes. My sons enjoy playing with the bugs as toys more than they actually enjoy playing the game. Unfortunately, the legs are a bit difficult to get in at the right angle and they too frequently fall out. The game has provided a bit of fun on occassion, however. |
| heinzy57 | 3 | 3 | No | Getting my two year old to roll the die, count the pips, and assemble the Cootie is next to impossible. He's probably still a little young. Having to progress in order (first roll a 1, then roll a two, ...) absolutely kill the interest. We normally scrap the game and just play with the parts as a toy. |
| Jatoha | 3 | | | They like to make the bugs, they dont like to play the "game". |
| rjpomeroy | 3 | | | I have seen my children play with the bits on several occasions but none have expressed any interets in playing the underlying game. As far as bits go Legos are far more entertaining. I classify this one as a do not buy. |
| Gecko23 | 2 | | | Completely, utterly random and goes on forever, and ever, and ever. Nobody likes to *play* cootie, they like to play *with* the cooties afterwards. |
| spearjr | 2 | | | Very little game here. Roll the die, add a part, unless you already have it. Even for kids, this is a poor choice. If the kid wants a toy, buy a toy. |
| fluffdaddy | 1 | | | My son has a pretty positive attitude about any game we play - but Cootie managed to smother his enthusiasm for playing games. It is long, it is boring, and the previous poster who mentioned that Legos were a better investment was absolutely correct. |
| helenoftroy | 1 | | | This game does not function well. The production quality of the game makes it unplayable. |
| m_hamburg | 1 | | | I will not buy this for my daughter because I do not want to have to play it. As a kid, I liked the toy aspect of this, but was always turned off by the game. |
| musicmom | 1 | 2 | No | My kids have only played this as an actual game one time. After that they occasionally used it as a Mr. Potatohead type toy, but that's it. |
| quozl | 1 | | | This game is mind-numbingly boring but it is a nice set of toys. |
