| LostDice | 10 | 7 | Yes | Great for both adults and kids! |
| Aranza | 9 | | | Excellent replayability, good for playing in mixed level/experience groups. My daughter started at 6 or 7, and we still play ocassionally 3 years later (we have a lot of games though). For younger children, consider the JR version. The pieces are attractive and durable enough. Greatly recommended for family gaming. |

| CDRodeffer | 9 | 6 | Yes | Nice set collection game set in a moving maze that bridges the generation gap. There is a risk that the youngest kids will sometimes be frustrated by being cut off from the passage they wanted to follow next to get to a goal chip when the older sister pushes a tile just to her spite younger brother. But because the game is generally light-hearted and fun, it's a good one to use to teach kids how to play competitively without hurt feelings. |
| davebo | 9 | | | Awesome game for kids. Teaches critical thinking, easy to handicap, looks nice. |

| RPardoe | 9 | | | Kids love this game. Nice shifting pieces - but can be frustrating if kids get trapped. Easy to handicap. Adults look ahead at 1 target, kids can choose from some number. Younger (less than 8 yo) kids can play, but might need a bit of help seeing helpful moves. |
| tempus42 | 9 | | | Outstanding family game, one of our very favorites. We started playing with my sons when my oldest (twins) were about 8 or so, and they generally had no problem at all learning the rules and strategy, although it's still challenging enough to keep adults interested. The illustrations are very fun and evocative, particularly if your kids (like mine) are interested in fantasy themes. Younger kids may need some prompting to find the right moves, but after only a few games I think one of my sons became better at it than I am! |
| The Unbeliever | 9 | 7 | Yes | Master Labyrinth is better for older kids. |
| alkaiser | 8 | 6 | Yes | My 6 year old daughter loves this game. she really enjoys rescuing the items (especially the princess) from the dungeon. I don't play really cutthroat with her (no blocking, yet) but she does manage to work out all but the most complicated moves by herself. |
| dsr15 | 8 | 5 | Yes | This is a great game for kids, and adults will like it too. It woul get a higher score, except the cards are flimsy and the default rules are kinda lame... you can do better by creating your own rules where you go for the same prize... check out the variants at board game geek. |
| Germarish | 8 | | | Lots of fun. My kids love sliding the tiles. Very unique game board. |
| Jatoha | 8 | 6 | Yes | A six year old will still need help with this one, but mine really enjoyed it. This game is easy to handicap so people at various skill levels can still play together competitively. |
| Norwood | 8 | 8 | Yes | A great puzzle game that can be played with 1-4 players (pretty good even solo) that has great theme and replayability. |
| Ossian | 8 | | | Great game - son loved it at age 8-10. |

| shumyum | 8 | | | Frankly, my kids (5 y.o. twins) enjoy this just as much as the Junior version. But they need a good amount of help (which does not bother them). |
| sosullivan | 8 | | | Excellent game you can enjoy playing with them yourself. |
| toupsz | 8 | | | This is a great game for kids because it really requires you to think in ways that are not immediately obvious and also gives players interesting, meaningful choices. The bits are a plus: colorful and well-illustrated, not to mention nice wooden pawns. |
| wkusau | 8 | 7 | Some | Wonderful game. Everyone should try it. |
