Dr. Mobius97Yes I've never had a game go over so well with family and friends. (Needs the Spirits of Niagra expansion to get the full experience. Beautiful toy like bits enhance a fun game.
christiankilloran88Yes Friday night I taught this to two boys (ages 8 and 13.) Saturday night both boys demanded to play again, even passing up an opportunity to play Looping Louie to do so. 'nuff said.
ef88Yes
guantanamo86Yes
mawiker87Yes
musicmom86Yes A great game that can be played on many different levels depending on the age of the players.
regai88Yes This is a fun little game that gets requested by my 8year old niece. She sometimes has problems with the river movement mechanic so I wouldn't recommend this game for ages under eight. But this is one game that everyone in the family loves (even my mother). It is a sure hit for family game nights.
Styro87Some The rules can be a little difficult to understand, but the basics of the game are not too bad. Even my 7-year-old has figured out how to setup a steal. It is also decent for adults. It has enough winning options and strategic choices so that you are not bored out of your mind like with a lot of kid's games.
tiggle88Some Too many fiddly and easy to lose parts for children to play this game without adult involvement. Fun game, but can take too long sometimes (45 minutes or more). 8-yr old daughter likes it, I like it (lots), husband gripes about playing it. Lots to manage during the game (pushing the river disks, passing the life preserver to identify who's turn it is to go first, etc) keeps you busy. Daughter LOVES making the river move.

Germarish7  Another game where the game box is part of the game itself. An original and great looking game. Although I think there is a little too much strategy for anyone under around 10
Munin75Yes Niagara is a very pretty game. That's most of the charm for young kids. Our 5 year old plays, but mostly enjoys seeing loaded canoes go over the falls. We play without the stealing rules, making it just a race game with the falls as our common hazard. With a little coaching, he does well enough and the random factor his card play brings to the game can make for some comical situations with the adults.
sevorges7  Looks great - the waterfall does serve a purpose and the river theme is engrossing. Gameplay is reasonably simple but can be played at different levels. Kids will play and enjoy but adults will beat them everytime if they concentrate - so do not concentrate on counting cards or stealing gems when you are playing kids!
shawndumas710Yes Pre-teens and teens will have no trouble and are likely to enjoy. No half naked women, gore, cursing, or morbidity.
shumyum7  My twins are too young (5 yo) to play it strategically (although they CAN play it by the rules). But they have a lot of fun with it.
SoLove7  Looks great when set up. Gameplay is a bit simplistic but the kids get excited when a canoe is heading for the falls.
The Unbeliever79Yes My kids get really upset when they go over the waterfall, but they enjoy the game quite a bit. They get confused by upriver vs. downriver rules for stealing.
Admiral Fisher6  Children from 7 or 8 up can play it and have a lot of fun with the waterfall. They are likely to be beaten by any half serious adult, though.
Yollege28Some Did not go over well with my family. I know alot of people enjoy it, but we just did not.
