| Shade_Jon | 10 | 5 | Some | One of the most requested and ubiquitous games for kids, it is very easy and portable, and everyone knows the rules. Passes time for all occasions, but kids should really grow out of it, eventually. |
| flieger | 9 | | | This one often hits the table after dinner. We have the Uno junior (Winnie the Poo) version. Even my 2yo daughter gets a kick out of it. She learns to match colors and numbers, and how to take turns. Due the high luck factor, she even gets to win, although she does not really care.
We also often play Mau Mau (uno with a regular card deck). |

| klarkin | 8 | 4 | Some | My 4-year old loves this- we taught her this past week, and have had to play about 30 hands with her (she is too young to play with any kind of scoring- we play hand-by-hand). We use 10 Days in Europe tile racks, because she just can't hold more than a few cards. She loves setting up power moves (skip-skip-reverse-draw 2, etc.) and may have developed her 1st ever strategy (if she has 2 cards left and one is wild, she knows what to do). |
| mcross | 8 | 5 | Some | Easy to learn and usually quick to play. Always good for a laugh. |
| metalchorus | 8 | 4 | | Easy to learn and easy to teach. Kids pick it up easily. |
| musicmom | 8 | 3 | Some | This rating is for Uno Attack, which my kids really enjoy. |
| Thies | 8 | 4 | Some | Teaches a lot of the basic card game skills to kids -- hand management, matching numbers/suits, etc. Always good fun for the kids. We usually don't keep track of overall scores -- everyone can feel good about winning some hands. I've introduced a number of games that I find superior, by my daughter still suggests this more often than many of those others. |
| tiggle | 8 | 7 | Some | My 8-yr-old daughter loves this game and has for a year or so. She absolutely LOVES making her dad draw 4. There's enough luck that she can win regularly. Sometimes her dad and I get tired of playing this and suggest something else, but it's definitely one of her favorites. |
| boltongeordie | 7 | 4 | Yes | Good to teach the basics of card play and the kids love the 'take-that' element but there is precious little decision making to do. They get lots of fun out of it for a while but will soon grow out of it if introduced to games with a little more thinking required. |
| erik2point0 | 7 | 6 | Some | While my kids do enjoy uno, after we play once and it takes 90 minutes to finish, it takes 6 months before they ask for it again (Which is way more often then I care to play.) They like to play the all of the draw 3 cards on each other and the other "take that!" elements of the game, like skip etc. |

| rgrein | 7 | | | Very good card game for kids. Introduction to hand management, mild strategy with a huge dose of luck. fun. |
| Thommy8 | 7 | | | Uno is a good introductory card game for kids, as long as their hands are big enough to hold the cards. The concept of matching color or number can probably be taught pretty young, and the special cards could also be removed for introducing the game if need be. |
| cindy | 6 | 6 | Some | Good for what it is. Not a lot of game here but the children like it |
| davebo | 6 | | | A bit boring, but fun every once in a while. |
| Duglis | 6 | | | Light fun and great laughter for this easy to learn game for kids. |
| fullerbd | 6 | | | this became his favorite game for a while, then he forgot about it |
| shawndumas | 6 | 7 | Some | Good game for pre-teens and teens. No half naked women, gore, cursing, no morbidity. |
