Sprydle93Some minimum age is listed as 3+, but really it's 3 to play with and 4 to actually play the game itself. But this is a worthy addition simply for playing with the pieces. This is literally cheese fishing where you fish into a hollow swiss cheese, through the holes, trying to hook cheese pieces and not mice or cats with magnets at the end of string. We had this out last weekend for my daughter's 4th b-day and it was a HUGE hit--all the kids were between 4 and 5 years old and everyone was able to play together just fine. Adults need to tone down their play a little to make it fair, and I did it by not looking through the holes (which is allowed) nor trying to knock off a bad catch (which is also allowed) as I pulled it up through the hole. The bits are goodwood quality, though the poles and actual cheese/cat/mouse pieces are a little fragile for rough play. The cheese block, while great quality, doesn't have an easy way to hold up when bumped and cannot be set up well by a 3 year old. I made a slight addition to it by drilling a small hole in each corner on the top piece and then putting a half-inch piece of dowel there. That way the top piece doesn't have to simply balance on top, but actually fits in and stays there. You could also simply glue the top on, but it would no longer fit in the box AND it would make the setup slightly less adjustable, since as-is you can fit the top to either end of the sides and have different view-hole orientations.
