| ForbiddenDonuts | 8 | 4 | Some | My daughter got this for Christmas when she was four and has played it pretty regularly in the year since. The artwork is cute and the wooden game pieces are very nice as well. The game is easily understood and has a rule variation that can be introduced to make the game harder. It isn't a real brain burner or a wild action game, but it does involve some strategy and it doesn't take too long to play a game. |
| alkaiser | 7 | 4 | Some | This is a simple game for younger kids but is a nice game overall. It's simple, cheap and plays fast. To me though you need to play with the alternate rule that allows you to move your bird in either direction instead of always in the same direction. The goal is jump your bird over the most other birds and with each jump you collect a worm. The most worms at the end of the game wins. Playing with the alternate rule lets the kids choose which direction is better for them. Once kids get a little more experienced they can start to see that they also have to take into account the possible subsequent players moves as well. |

| tiggle | 7 | 4 | Some | Very simple roll and move game, but it can be fun to tweet like a bird to add some silly to the experience. Also, the worms can be fun to stack between turns. Alternate rules where you can move the sparrow either direction work best. Plays well with 2 players; 4 would be a crowd. |
