| laraberrycross | 10 | 9 | Yes | Easy rules, cool trains, what more could you ask for? |
| jiffypop | 9 | 9 | Yes | More strategy than the original, but not overly complicated. Fun game with any number of players. |
| luwies.mum | 9 | 8 | Yes | A great family game and good way to keep the math skills sharp. Kids (and adults) can practice adding up their scores in their heads before moving the score marker rather than using the score markers to count them out.
Also a great way to learn Geography, and for those interested in foreign languages (and German in particular). The names of the cities and countries bordering Germany are printed in their German forms, which is really cool. We speak German so we sometimes practice by announcing our passenger routes in German - i.e. Ich gene nach Berlin, und dann nach Leipzig, und ... ( I'm going to Berlin, then to Leipzig, and ... ).
It's also just a really FUN game! We love it and can't wait to play the other editions. |

| mcross | 9 | 9 | Yes | Lots of fun with some good strategy involved. |
| sanjaysub | 9 | 9 | Yes | Super game but please introduce this after they have played some regular Ticket to Ride games. |
| spearjr | 8 | 10 | Yes | I think this would be more difficult for kids than the others in the Ticket to Ride series and would only recommend it for those who have already cut their teeth on the US or Europe maps. |
| The Unbeliever | 8 | 9 | Yes | A nice twist for kids that have already played the basic Ticket to Ride. |
| Admiral Fisher | | 10 | | Whilst this is a great game for adults, I think it's a tad too difficult for kids under ten. There's a lot going on and I think they'd get frustrated with that. |
