| alkaiser | 8 | 8 | Yes | A standard roll and move game but with real choices to be made. The roll and move element will be familiar enough that you should be able to introduce it fairly easily to pre teens but there is still enough going on to keep older kids and adults interested. The bits in the game are fantastic and will draw the players in even if the interesting game play doesn't. |
| laiernie | 7 | 8 | Yes | has great bits, kids will enjoy the shiny gems and rolling the dice in the dice tower. the dice are non-standard and have 3 different numbers with unequal distribution instead of the normal 1-6, so it's not as random as a typical roll-and-move. it also uses an interesting scoring mechanism similar to tigris & euphrates. there's plenty of strategy for adults. |
| sandys | 7 | 5 | Yes | I play this with my 3 boys, ages 5, 12, and 15. My 5-year-old loves it and can play fine with a little help deciding where to move to. The game runs about an hour, though, and I can see where that might be a problem for a lot of young kids. We can always get my 15-year-old to play, but my 12-year-old can't stand it, says it is way too slow. |

| peacmyer | 6 | 5 | | Can be played with younger kids, but it's a bit long. They like the bits! |
