But it's easy enough to catch onto how to play, and the chaos that ensues is bound to be highly entertaining for kids. I disagree with the assertion that Fluxx and its decendents are all luck. As with any random deal card game, yes, there is a healthy dose of luck, but there are plenty of decisions to be made that can effect the game, even if those effects are sometimes small. The most important decisions in Fluxx are usually when not to play a certain card, and this is a lesson that can, at least in some small way, be carried over into real life. |

Teens realize fairly soon that there is not much to the game and tire of it quickly, but for a very light, quick, fun game you can't lose with Fluxx. When I teach this game to kids they love it, but I don't like playing myself. |

The changing mechanics are unique and make for a silly game that is never the same. It can be a bit confusing the first time or 2 for new players but all seem to catch on quick. The game can drag on a bit long sometimes. |
