alkaiser104Yes A excellent kids game with beautiful components and game play. Plays best with more players but it still works with just two. You race around the board trying to beat the other players to the best cheese and at the same time trying to keep ahead of the cat. Lots of interesting choices to make concerning which mouse to move and when to take cheese.
Sprydle103Yes Age 3 was a little too young, but at 3.5 this has been great! It's fun for kids and adults and has a simple push-your-luck mechanic. It has real decisions to make--which mice to move, whether to grab the lower value but safe cheese, or risk the cat. The board and pieces are FANTASTIC--colorful with fun art work, and the pieces are wood with felt ears and tails. I cannot recommend this one enough!
aldanra92Yes It has some push your luck element appealing to adults, and the ids love throwing the dice, moving the mice and specially getting the mice eaten by the cat. A really good one.
efreeman93Yes At 3.5, my oldest son can grasp the mechanics of the game, but still has trouble with the scoring. Fun for adults and he could play the game with his cousin who is 2 years older. I think my son will grow into this one.
fluffdaddy9  Viva Topo is a double race game - you are rolling & moving your mice to be the first to scarf up the cheese. At the same time, you are attempting to outrun the "neutral" cat. The bits are gorgeous (the wooden mice each have rope tails and the cat has felt ears), the gameplay is very smooth, and tension rachets up quite nicely as the game concludes. Although similar to Midnight Party, this game is different enough to warrant a place in my collection.
RPardoe94Yes An excellent game for kids. Simple to learn, excellent bits, and a nice risk/reward mechanism. Get the low scoring easy points? Or risk the cat to get the higher scoring points? Plays quickly also, my daughter has never been bored with this game and still requests it at age 8.
smithhemb9  Great game -- one of the few that is fun for adults too. I agree that it is better with more players because the cat moves faster and poses more of a threat. Nice introduction to press-your-luck and kids really get into it. My daughter gets visibly anxious as the cat gets closer.
tiggle96Yes Great game! My daughter (almost 9) still has a difficult time allowing herself to sacrifice any mice to the cat which is usually necessary in order to get big chunks of cheese for the other mice. She's just now coming to terms with that. Her dad and I both love this game, probably more than she does. This is truly a good game . . . great bits, some strategy, easy to "ham up" and make lots of fun. It leaves you wanting to play at least two or three times in a sitting.
Yokiboy93Some Viva Topo is a near perfect push-your-luck game for children. This is a game for the youngsters in your family. Young kids will learn some good skills from this game.
1wif85Yes Wonderful bits and a tense little game. There are some real decisions to be made (push forward, be conservative, save the mouse but lose the advantage.) Be warned though, it can be difficult for children to see their mouse get caught. My one complaint is that the mice are top-heavy and often topple over.
chipster85Yes Good kids game. Better with more players. Not so good with only 2.
wmshub83Some Good children's game. Plays best with 3 or more (a more aggressive cat), but certainly fun with 2. Evil parents can chuckle secretly as the cat eats the poor little mousies.
