Norwood1010Yes RoboRally is just a really cool game. The concept of having to program in your move is pretty educational, requiring both spacial and multi-step thinking. But with all the cool little robots and wild action on the board, no teen or pre-teen will even notice that his brain is getting a real workout. Even if your robot gets totally smashed (and maybe even more so in this case) the game is a lot of fun and I would highly recommend it to everyone.
beauka910Yes A superb game that plays well with gamers, non-gamers, and older children alike. This is a game that should be in every collection!
boltongeordie910Yes Great fun with robots. Need any further inducement to buy it? Programming the movement of your robot has its similarities to programming a computer and is great for kids (boys especially) who are in to the whole computer, robot, technology vibe. Suits age 10+ for certain but my eldest (who is very into maths) mastered it at 7, whilst some adults still dont get it. Perfect (and challenging) if it matches the interest of the child.
duchamp910Yes Great chaotic fun. The theme and bits are gorgeous. Needs a lot of time though, if you make the course too long on too many boards ... but for the beginning you can make it easily fitting to your kids` abilities.
laraberrycross910Yes Can take too long, but you can adjust the number of flags. Fun theme, easy gameplay, lots of laughs as you end up somewhere totally different than you expected.
Mark910Yes Great fun. although it takes about 2 hours to play.

prophx98Yes Forget the timer and help here and there with the younger of the crowd and you have an excellent game with plenty of chaos! Even if they lose they still love playing. Highly recommended!
reapersaurus912Yes Great easier-than-you'd think game for kids, and adults. It's much easier and welcoming than the robot/programming theme would suggest - you simply choose which cards in your hand would best move your robot to where it has to go on the map, and then they're all set loose to see what happens. Men and women like this game as well. Parents would have to help the kids to start, but after that 12+ should be fine. It doesn't take long if you don;t choose a big big map. You can choose whatever board you like and THAT controls how long the game is.

Bigwood812Yes This is a great game--one of my all-time favorites. It's really challenging while still being easy to learn and play. It has a few problems, though. It can take a long time to play even on an easy board. Player elimination can be a problem, especially when new players are learning the game. Also, it's possible for a player to get so far behind that they have nothing to do but mess with the other players. Technically many ten-year olds have the skills to play this game, but it's better suited for more mature kids and adults.
deadboy222810Yes A great way to introduce logic and future planning skills. Of course, it didn't work for me. :)
Doomfarer88Yes Great game for the whole family.
Ed the Red810Yes Fun game, unless you have difficulty telling left from right (particularly from the perspective of the robot rather than yourself). Can take a long time, and can be frustrating if you draw cards you really can't use. However, can also be really fun. Introducing new board concepts gradually, and using quicker courses to start with is a good idea. I suspect this game has a greater 'love it or loathe it' factor than many others.

Marky_marc810Yes Good logic game. Can get VERY confusing for younger children(or some adults) unless they are VERY spatially oriented, but a good game overall.
The Unbeliever810Yes Kids may need help with setup to avoid overly long scenarios / maps.
