The quickstart rules let you get pretty quickly into the game and shooting/fighting. The guns and combat might be a concern for some parents but it is all fantasy/sci-fi Star Wars so if you let your kids watch the movies, this is no worse (my son still hasn't seen Ep3, the only PG-13 in the series). |

The rules are a bit complex for younger kids, but if they are taught by a parent or older kid, they are relatively easy to play.
Half the fun is figuring out what miniatures you want in your team. |
