| cindy | 10 | 10 | Yes | Our son really likes this game. The map and iconography of the blocks are very appealing and the game is very strategic without being overly complicated. Highly recommended for anyone who is interested in wargames or history. |
| 122norfolk | 9 | 11 | Yes | If your child likes wargames they will most likely enjoy this game if not better not even try. A great block game with excellent components and theme. |
| Mark | 8 | 13 | Yes | Great introductory block-type wargame. Wargames in general, and the medieval England theme on this one aren't for everyone, though. |
| CDRodeffer | 7 | 10 | Yes | A great unequal forces starter war game, just the sort of game that kids who have grown tired with Stratego would find attractive. Overall strategies are relatively simple, and can be grasped and played effectively by kids as young as 10 -- the English should invade as hard and as fast as possible, splitting forces around Selkirk and pressing north as quickly as possible until the Scots are left with little breathing room in the north, whereas the Scots should use the special event cards and cathedral spaces to their best advantage in holding out against Longshanks. |
| The Unbeliever | 7 | 14 | Yes | Good introductory wargame. |
