But after that, he remembered the rules better than I did! And he loves it. Alot of reading required (in small print on the cards). If they've read the books (and watched the movie), this may very well hit the spot. But it could also fall incredibly flat b/c of the very complex nature of the game. |

Older Tolkien fans who are keen on a well-themed, detailed simulation will enjoy it. It falls between the wargame and eurogame camps quite neatly. Plenty of opportuities for clever play and a reasonable chance of heroic defenders holding out against vast enemy onslaughts make it quite fun and engaging. |
