| spearjr | 8 | 10 | Yes | An excellent abstract, but the planning portion in the being will be dead boring for the younger kids. I'd suggest placing the red rings somewhat evenly apart and then randomly placing the other rings just to get to the meat as soon as possible. IF and WHEN the kid is interested in adding more depth to the game, go back to the normal setup rules. As with the other games in the GIPF series, it requires your brain to think differently than it has before to grasp the strategy, which I found intriguing and look forward to introducing this to my children. |
| Shade_Jon | 7 | 10 | Yes | An interesting game for adults, but most kids will find the planning part in the first half of the game rather difficult. My 14 year old beats me, however. Pretty simple rules and gameplay, and pretty quick, however. |
| BaSL | 6 | 12 | Yes | Probably too abstract and hard to grasp for children. |
| Gecko23 | 6 | 8 | Yes | A fine abstract game, easily accessible to most players, but like adults, only kids that are fans of very abstract games are likely to be interested. |

| Yollege | 6 | 8 | Yes | My 8 yr old likes Yinsh & Gipf better, but he can play this one also. |
| The Unbeliever | 4 | 8 | Yes | The rules are easy enough for a younger child to follow, but only fans of abstracts will have fun playing it. |
