corross105Some My kids (ages 7 and 5) love this game, as do all the other kids I've ever played it with. Some amount of reading is required to play independently, but it's no biggie if someone assists a non-reader -- this game is about the social experience, not winning per se. This game is lots of fun for adults to play with kids . . . it's the best family-group game I can think of. Silliness is definitely required, so I don't think this game is suitable for those who are looking for an intense, solemn game experience. With the right attitude, though, it's a delight!
CharmlessMan98Some My nieces and nephews love playing this game. Some of the younger ones had a harder time keeping up with the game and got a little bogged down with how they were supposed to judge the cards. Most were able to reason out well enough there decision making process. We had fun with this. I say that only some adults will enjoy playing this with kids though, because it lacks the same interaction that you get with the adult version of the game, and this might drag it down some. With the right kids though, you will get a really fun time, and outright hilarity at what they say.
cindy97Some Children seem to love this but for an adult it becomes tedious rather fast. It appeals to the silliness in our children
Elden96Yes As has been mentioned, the pop culture is less prevalent than Apples to Apples. The gameplay is pretty much the same. I'd have to say this is an excellent game for the 6-11yo crowd.
fsumarc97Yes Some reading skill will be necessary. In all honesty the junior version works just as well with adults as kids. It doesn't have the pop culture references of the adult version but still quite fun to play. This one comes out every time we have a get together. We recommend the worm variant where a random red apple card is mixed into the submissions. It makes for some funny moments. We've even had the worm win a few hands.
Mark99Yes Excellent for building word and thinking skills.
mawiker96Yes
musicmom95Yes So fun and silly! Even if kids can't read, sometimes they can win by the silliness of the random card they picked! Gameplay can be however short or long as you want to make it.
Styro95Yes As long as your kids can read they can play this game. My daughters (5, 7, and 9) all love playing it. They can play it by themselves, but it is pretty fun so my wife and I do not mind playing with them. It is the same game as Apples to Apples, but with kid-centric and kid-friendly cards.

shawndumas86Some Pre-teens and teens will have no trouble and are likely to enjoy. No half naked women, gore, cursing, or morbidity.

metalchorus66 Fun game that supports imaginative play. Helps with reasoning skills, and can be quite funny.
