| starspangledgirl | 8 | 3 | Yes | Also called Poppa's Pizza Pile-Up. I like this game because it offers two levels of play. You can play it non-competitively by not balancing the pizza on top of the chef's finger. Just put the pizza on the floor and take turns rolling the die and putting on the toppings. So nobody wins, but 3 and 4 year olds can learn how to roll a die, answer Whose turn is it? , take turns, and match pictures. Then later when a child is ready for more dexterity/competitive challenges, you can put the pie on the chef. |
| boltongeordie | 7 | 5 | Some | A good balancing game but the slipperiness of the pieces and the pizza mean a very steady hand is required. Therefore probably outside the abilities of a 3 year old. 5 or 6 is about right, beyond then the theme and design may be seen as too childish. |
| spielguy | 6 | 3 | Some | This is a dexterity game where players roll a special die and take turns placing ingredients for the pizza directly on a pizza. This pizza is precariously perched atop Poppa's finger. Easy to topple the pizza.
I've played many games with my 3 (now 4) year old. If he cared more he'd beat me most of the time. |
