| maksum | 9 | | | One of my favorites, and a favorite of my children. My 4 year old does better than my 6 year old. It is about pattern recognition and deductive reasoning. For a fun variant, swith the cards laid out on the table with the stack in the middle. Makes for a fun challenge! |
| gteemer | 8 | | | One of my familys favorites. My 5 year old loves this game. Good for the 4-6 year olds. |
| qzhdad | 8 | 4 | Yes | We played this a lot when our youngest was pre-school. Looking for what's not there is a real twist on quicly spotting things. After the kids got the concept, they were beating me as often as not. |
| fluffdaddy | 7 | | | Also known as Solche Strolche. This has been one of the few "misses" in our home - my eldest son has difficulty finding the cards fast enough to enjoy the game. (I, OTOH, think the game is a lot of fun... I am waiting to see if it works better with his younger brother.) |
| The Unbeliever | 7 | 3 | No | My 3 year old likes to play this game solitaire, and will often request it when given the choice to pick a game to play. When my other kids were 5-6 they enjoyed it a little. The game is probably best when all players are at the same skill level. My older kids never choose to play this one, but they are usually willing to play when asked. |
| m_hamburg | 5 | | | This game has been good for my daughters mental development, but I am not sure that it is that much fun. I can think of many other games that are more popular with both her and with us. |
