Recommended Game Spotlight:

"10 Days" series by Out of the Box Publishing

The 10 Days series of games by Out of the Box Publishing are ideal games for kids -- fun and educational both. Players must put together a travel plan, linking countries across a continent. This is a great way to learn the locations of countries around the world. The game pieces can also be readily adapted for simpler variants for even younger kids. The games in the series are 10 Days in Europe, 10 Days in Asia, 10 Days in Africa, and 10 Days in America. 2-4 players. Ages 10 to adult. Recommended Games.

The "Off-Topic" Corner

  My Neighbor Totoro
Gentle, magical story by the master of Japanese animation.

  Because of Winn Dixie
Cute, quirky story about a lonely girl and her smiling dog who bring a town together.

  Letter Factory
